Q1a: What is the modus operandi (method of operating) of the con artists?
Ans : The modus operandi is to pose , in most instances, as volunteers fom welfare organisations on a project to spruce up the homes of these senior citizens.
Q1b: What are the Lion Befrienders planning to do to ensure the old folks do not get conned again?
Ans: they are planning to introduce more new volunteers to the senior citizens to ensure the old folks not to get conned again.
Q2: Do you like doing social work? Why or why not?
Ans: yes i like doing social work because it gives me peace in my mind that i am helping someone. it is also a good thing to do when you are free.

Q1a: What are the 2 worrying trends about drug trafficking mentioned in the article?
Ans:The two worrying trends are teens as young as 14 years old have been arrested for trafficking and more singaporeans are being arrested for drug crimes overseas.
Q1b:Why are Singaporeans increasingly being used as "drug mules"?
Ans: Singaporeans are increasingly being used as "drug mules" as singaporeans do not need a visa for many places, and they are also less likely to be checked because of singapore's reputation for being tough on drugs.
Q2: What will you do if you find out that one of your friends is selling drugs? How will you react if someone tries to sell you drugs?
Ans: I will first warn my friend not to sell it and tell the trouble she will get into, if she do not listen, i will report to my teacher. i will refuse if someone tries to sell me drugs and change the subject.

Q: Why is cheerleading an expensive sport?
Ans: There is many products and things to buy for cheerleading. some of the expensive things are hair products which costs about $50 for a team per competition, poms-poms which costs about $50 to $70 a pair, medical insurance $30 to $100 per person, nutritional supplements and vitamins which costs $50 to $130, kaepa brand gymnastics shoes costs $90 to $150 , tights $2 to $25, tailored costumes, new each competition, which costs $100 to $400, gymnastics classes and workshops $50 per season and training mats $50 each.

Q: What is your opinion of cheerleaders? If given a chance, would you join cheerleading? Why/ why not?

Ans: it is a lot of hardwork!!! yes but i must know how to manage my time studying and cheerleading .it will be hard work !!!!

Minister questions plans to separate conjoined twins

Q:What are some of the problems involved in separating a conjoined twin?
Ans: Doing this operation may cause one of the twin die. If the another twin survive te twin will also suffer from brain damage.

Q:If you were a part of a conjoined twin, would you rather stay together with your twin for the rest of your life or would you risk both your lives to go for an operation? Why?
Ans: I will go for the operation as in the future I will suffer if I do not go for the operation.

Ans: They are in energy saving programme to save reduce business costs for example singtel changed the giving of bills on paper to singtel myBill , paperless billing system.
Q:How important it is to be socially responsible? And do you think it is still possible to make a social impact during the recession?
Ans: It is very important to be socially responsible. Yes it is possible.

Q: What are the some of the things that schools in Singapore are doing in order to take care of the environment?
Ans: Secondary schools are learning about the causes and effects of global warming. Some schools are told to bring their electricity bills to track on energy use and teach them how to save energy.
Q: Do think one person 's effort in reducing , reusing and recycling will make a difference in saving the environment? What steps have you taken in the effort to save the earth?
Ans:yes. I will recycle the rubbish andd throw it in the correct bins.

ANS: ketamine comes in power form, which users snort up their nostrils, or as tablets that are swallowed
Q: what would you do if you knew your friend took ketamine?
ANS: I will tell my friend to try her best to stop taking ketamine as it will affect her life alot. it also affects her family alot too. she can also lost her life time by going to jail. I will tell her to consult the counselor
